Technology and Geometry
Here I am again! As you know, today we are surrounded by technological advances, proposals to enhance certain technological capabilities to our students. Is it really carried out? Do you take advantage of these resources? All this will depend on the teacher, the ability that has to choose the most appropriate websites for your class, enhancing the technological capacity of students.
Using technologies is not always a good thing, since in many centers there is a lack of technological equipment, or light can go at any given time. On the other hand, it has positive things such as the one that enhances the autonomous learning of the students, creating a complementary space to the classroom. In addition, they are usually free resources.
For this reason, I would like to show you some of them that can be used by our pupils:

For this reason, I would like to show you some of them that can be used by our pupils:
That resource is proposed by Junta of Extremadura. It is named “ Las matemáticas de Hades”, where you can find a principal character (Hades) that belong to you during the activities. This resource copes with different topics of mathematic, but the one that I want to underline is the geometry topic. That is focus on different kinds of activities, tasks and theory that are accompanied with interactive games related with the main topic. In addition, it gives an immediately feedback to the students, in this way they would be able to identify their mistakes.- Geoboard
Apart of that, I have found another one, Geoboard, which is really useful in order to work a variety of geometrical topics. Learners stretch bands around the pegs to form line segments and polygons and make discoveries about perimetrer, area, angles, etc.
- Angles
It is a really helpfull app, where kids can improve their math´s skills while they are having fun. There are two types, one about angles and the other about area. After each question the level increase, so it is a boosting for kids.
